Apocalpyto is an Academy Award nominated 2006 film that now is available on DVD. Mel Gibson directs his forth film, set in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula just before Spanish contact. The movie according to Gibson is that it’s a movie is partially intended as a political allegory about civilizations in decline.
It’s a story that depicts one person’s experience during the decline of the ancient Maya Civilization. He is taken to a place ruled by fear and oppression he faces he is short awaited death Through a twist of fate and as well as his power of love for his woman and his family, he makes a desperate break to return home, it run and chase movie where the main character as to go though serous lengths to stay alive.
Film has received mostly positive reviews from film critics, receiving 65% on Rotten Tomatoes a certification of “Fresh”.
